For those of you who have never made hobo dinners, you take some tin foil, throw in some hamburger, potatoes, carrots, onions, ketchup, and other fixings, (some people like cheese, peppers, spam, etc in theirs), wrap it up and place it in the coals.   You definitely want them in the coals, not fire.  Heat for awhile and then carefully open it up and serve.
