The only injury of the kayaking part of the trip came from a thrown granola bar, but he was able to save the food.  :-)  Ryan was kayaking in his own kayak because the outfitter could only carry 5 double kayaks, and 12 had 11 Scouts, (plus Sean and Clay in the canoe).  So we had Ryan bring his own kayak.
