After that the guys who had been biking in the morning either threw rocks, or stretched out and relaxed.  It was unfortunate that some of the younger Scouts who had been part of the backpacking crew didn't get a chance to kayak, but the outfitter was already booked for the afternoon with another group and couldn't get us in :-(.
