The course is pretty well laid out.  There are two safety cables, (each that can hold something like 10,000lbs), and the cables criss cross the last cable in the series.  That way Scouts could step up onto the platform all the way, and have easy access to both the cables from the last event, as well as the cables for the next event right next to each other.  That was a very safe way to design the course.
