In a not very bright move, once Ted is out on the road he stops to unhook the tow strap and let the Scouts back in the vehicle. After Bill drives away Ted realizes that he is on sheet ice and can’t get over the little hill in the road. All that happens is he is spinning his tires. (The trailer is pretty heavy).
