One of the big things about this course was that they had a special carabineer that once locked on the wire could only be unlocked by a special key. As Scouts progressed through the course they came to junctions where they could only move the carabineer from one wire to the next by first locking it to a transfer rope, then using that to lock onto the next wire. It was a very ingenious system.
