Since we had opted for a short trip for our first day canoeing, (7 miles), we had arrived at our destination early, (about 2pm), so we had plenty of free time that afternoon. Scouts decided to test out the water. Since Dave and Clay are going to be lifeguards at Ajawah, they were in charge of making sure the swim was done safely.
