As we continued downstream, the 21 miles was starting to catch up with some of the Scouts. Luckily Ted had a secret stash of goodies that he passed out to the last 5 canoes that were lagging way behind the rest. That gave the Scouts a fresh burst of energy and they were able to charge ahead to the end.
