All of the Zombies had been told to not come out until they heard Cpt McLaughlin, (who was a complete Zombie by that point), make his big announcement. Unfortunately with all of the noise the Scouts were making, no one could hear anything. So finally Ted screamed himself hoarse, (all while holding his severed hand scepter), announcing to everyone that, “It’s time my minions! It’s time to arise and feast on the flesh of the humans!” Or something like that. You can see Austin charging out from the trees behind him.
