Alex was about to start cooking the hamburger when the adults convince him that cooking that much hamburger in a pot like that wasn't a good idea.

And for those of you are wondering what the soap is for, that's to put on the outside of the pot before it goes in the fire.  It makes it MUCH easier to clean later.
