Because our original plans called for the backpackers to be out for 3 days we didn't have enough seatbelts left in the vehicles back at camp to haul everyone.  Because we didn't want to have to shuttle people out and back to the John's Lake hike we deicded to leave the backpackers (and Sean), in camp to recover from their arduous backpacking trek.

You can tell they are recovering nicely.
