This picture at almost the exact same spot an hour and a half later.   You can see quite a change in the riverbed as the rain had picked up considerably.  It wasn't very deep, but it was fast and cold and no one really wanted to step in it.  It was probably 55 degrees out and with the rain it felt even colder.

We had hiked down the trail about a mile because on the map it showed a lookout point over the river.  When we got there it turned out that the lookout was actually on the East side of the river.  Unfortunately no pictures of any of that due to the lost memory card.
