It was interesting that even with all the rain we were getting, the ground was absorbing it very quickly.  There were few standing puddles of water anyway.

We had planned on doing a hike that day, but with the cold wet weather, (and the fact that we had just done great hikes the previous two days),  we decided to do something else.  Unfortunately the options were rather limited, so we decided to treat the Scouts to something they wouldn't get to do very often with the Troop.
