Not the best picture, but you can see that the cake mix isn't solid at all. Normally if we would have been using Jiffy Cake Mix it wouldn't have been a problem, (no eggs in it), but since the store was out of Jiffy we were using regular cake mix with eggs in it and so it had to be cooked a little longer.
