The adults told the Scouts that the cake was only for the adult patrol, (plus the SPL), and that we each got 1/4 of it. The Scouts then began trying to barter for a piece of it. They offered everything you can imagine for it, including cash amounts that they aren't likely to see for many years to come. It was repeatedly pointed out that they could bring their own cake mix on the next campout.
