By this point it was up to 48 degrees, (which was slowly getting better), but the wind was killing us. In addition to just the pure wind chill factor, the fact that it was a headwind that the Scouts were biking into was making it far worse. Plus since it was coming straight off of Lake Superior it was bringing moisture with it.
