It was a good thing that it was Ted lifting it when it happened because the whole lid full of coals and charcoal landed right on his food. But luckily Ted had on his steel toed leather boots, and all it did was turn them white.

It was fun trying to get a hot handle back onto a very hot dutch oven. Thankfully we have multiple pairs of welding gloves.
