You can just barely see it in this picture, but at the bottom of the right most tote there is an apple that some scout unfortunately left in the tote a couple months ago.

Even more unfortunate is that mice had gotten into it and left their usual mess all over everything. So the Scouts decided we would thoroughly wash and sanitize every dish in every tote.

And yes, it was the Scouts who decided this. They weren't happy with the thought of mice poop on the dishes they were using.
