Some of the Scouts needed a 5 mile hike for rank advancement so we off we went.

When we got down to the lake we realized that the wind was blowing MUCH harder than it was the previous day. While the actual air temp may have been slightly higher, the wind chill was MUCH lower.

Several people were walking backwards into the wind to keep it out of their faces.
