Normally all of our big Trips are done in June each year, but in Feburary of 2022 the Minneapolis Public Schools teachers went on a long strike. That pushed the last day of school for Minneapolis back to June 24th, which was too late to do a Trip because it would interfere with Camp Ajawah. So we pushed the Trip all the way back to late August after Ajawah was done for the year. It worked out great in the end. We canoed 60 miles on a river that didn't have a whole lot of water in it, which isn't unusual in late August.
